what do you think is the best band of the 1980's i always thought billy joel and elton john even though they are the best still.yes i know they did not just do music in the 80's i just liked there stuff from the 80's the best.

Unfortunately Superfly is right, that is the main reason why the 90's were that shit.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are of course the best thing in the 80's.

Os Paralamas do Sucesso were the very best brazilian band in the 80's, if you have a chance listen to some of their songs.
