There have been lots of these threads, but let's do one with only photos you have taken yourself. Anybody can find the online ones.

This one is outside a church in Northfield, MN:

I took a picture of one of those signs at Dublin...what I thought was funny was the first part...Ireland being a modern country, who there would not be familiar with the use of an escalator??? I have not seen a sign like that anywhere else before...

Mr. Harlot and I were in his hometown of Oakville, Ontario when we went by this sign in front of a money mart. We were like, "did we see what we think we did?!?" and went back and took a picture....giggling the whole time.

Quoting USAFHummer (Reply 21):

I can understand that one...one of my friends who was raised in a small town had trouble with escalators when she first went away to school. It took her several tries to get on the thing. My first day at my co-op job in Ottawa, I was rather distressed to see that the building had a revolving door. I had never used one before. I was 20. I stood and watched a few people to see how they did it. And Canada's a modern country too!  Smile

But that was when I ruled the world
