Very funny I saw a lot like those when I was in Shanghai and Hong Kong, but didn't spot any in the rest of China. actually, in HK you can't go more than about 5ft without seeing an incredibly dumb sign!

This sign cracked me up at DUB...one of these does not belong with the rest...
I took a picture of one of those signs at Dublin...what I thought was funny was the first part...Ireland being a modern country, who there would not be familiar with the use of an escalator??? I have not seen a sign like that anywhere else before...

Yes, I have taken this myself.
My friend holding a sign that he had just removed from its post. Don't worry, we put it back.

Mr. Harlot and I were in his hometown of Oakville, Ontario when we went by this sign in front of a money mart. We were like, "did we see what we think we did?!?" and went back and took a picture....giggling the whole time.
Quoting USAFHummer (Reply 21): Ireland being a modern country, who there would not be familiar with the use of an escalator???
I can understand that one...one of my friends who was raised in a small town had trouble with escalators when she first went away to school. It took her several tries to get on the thing. My first day at my co-op job in Ottawa, I was rather distressed to see that the building had a revolving door. I had never used one before. I was 20. I stood and watched a few people to see how they did it. And Canada's a modern country too!
But that was when I ruled the world
25 USAFHummer: But are there signs on Canadian escalators like that though?
26 ScarletHarlot: Well, no...that sign is pretty funny.
27 Halls120: saw this in a small northern California (where else?) town.
36 Af773atmsp: While going through Wyoming my family and I see a tiny little town. Theres a sign that shows the town name (sorry, forgot the town name) and shows a p
37 Flyer732: Sounds like Aladdin, WY. Was it in Eastern Wyoming, between Devil's Tower and say the South Dakota border?
38 Smcmac32msn: Sounds like driving north on Hwy 20 out of Mountain Home, ID. About 20-30 miles out of Mountain Home, you see a sign that says "Welcome to Speedtrap"
39 Lincoln: If it makes you feel any better (or at least more normal) I had a similar reaction when I got to Cleveland from Southern California-- I had only seen
40 Af773atmsp: Yes. I remember another town called Lost Springs or some other name near the the small town.
41 Legoguy: Sign on the door of the nappy changing room at Legoland I think.
42 FlyDeltaJets87: This sign is funny because I took the photo of the sign early in the morning while at the park. Not once, but TWICE later that day, I was attacked by

44 6YJJK: Not only took it myself, but wrote it myself - I really shouldn't be allowed out in public (And yes, I left it there.)
45 Kovi17: hahahaha nice i bet some people were pointing that out all day.
46 Superfly: Guess where I am going in this photo?
50 AsstChiefMark: Here's one taken on Interstate 494 at West Bush Lake Road in Bloomington, MN, which is five miles from MSP airport.
51 Speedbirdie: I thought this was rather amusing! Shame they didnt have the signs the other way around though!!
52 Smcmac32msn: The funnier part about your picture is down on the window. The "No Cellphones" logo in the bottom left with the person at the window on the cell.

55 PurdueAv2003: I took this photo in a restroom in MCI. Apparently you have to walk with a cane, walk with a walker, or have a really big penis to use this stall!
56 DavestanKSAN: Just took that one. I kid you Kai Dave
58 TurkishWings: The picture is from IST I'm afraid I recently noticed that too and thought it was funny
59 FlyDeltaJets87: Not technically a sign, but my cousin took this photo on a TACA A320 flight from MIA to Honduras. He found the image on the safety-card amusing. "Do p
