Many of you may remember the fiasco that was my last engagement (3 years ago). Well I'm happy to report that I really have found my partner-for-life this time.
Shandette and I have been dating since last November and living together for the last 2-3 months since my company moved me to Santa Fe. We've been talking about it for weeks now, and it just feels right. So we decided to take the plunge. I popped the question - and she said yes!
We've got a target window of mid/late April to get married in Chelan, WA.
So for those of you who are in-the-know, the Pup has be tamed, and I couldn't be happier about it.

Quoting Superfly (Reply 2): She is a cutie and I respect a woman that can put up with you.
LOL! Silly
Me too! That's one of the things I love most about her; she doesn't put up with my shit. She's always challenging me to be better and stronger. She's not afraid to give me a piece of her mind and a swift kick in the ass (when needed). Her strength and determination are two of my favorite traits about her.
I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this woman. Thanks guys!

A lifetime of getting lots of "swift kick in the ass (when needed)."
I am sure you two will be happy. I don't think you'd take much $h!t either.

Hey! It's chrome-dome; thank you very much!

She really is a total sweetheart/softie. But I really need a woman who has strength and is too timid. That's one of the big things that has ruined relationships for me in the past. So I really appreciate the fact that she's not afraid to tell me what she thinks. We're a really good balance for each other.

Quoting CastleIsland (Reply 13): Congrats, mate! You should really do it in Vegas though...
LOL. I've tried to sell her on that one; but she won't bite. Though we are talking about making this a very simple, low-cost affair. A few friends/family at a state park or something along those lines...

Well this is news enough to actually make me take time to post! As I said last night bud, congrats! Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, but I'm still trying to figure out what she did to deserve this!

Its a little early in the season, but if this is what you're looking at, think about Mt Ranier. My had her ceremony at one of the overlooks on the road up to Paradise. Scenery & pictures were amazing, and we got an impromptu wedding caravan going from all the cars that stopped to watch.
Wherever the event, glad its up in this neck of the woods. Look forward to seeing you and the blushing bride. Oh, and you're on for November.

Well, as already expressed via PM but it can't be repeated enough- I wish you both the absolute best that life can offer and the happiest of times as your relationship with each other grows.

When does Shandi get her own A.net account?
I really appreciate that Cheeseman; thank you so much.
As far as getting Shandi as a a-nutter; I'm not sure if I can make that sale. It will be an uphill-battle, but I'll work on it.

Yay Sir Stevie! No more Slut Puppy though - at least for nobody other than Shandette - I can't believe it! Good for you, finding the right girl for you, someone you can respect and who doesn't take any crap. I'm so happy for you.
