i think that the people ( including myself ) who didn`t invest money on the stock market right after september 11 missed a big opportunity to make a good amount of money.

who`s into stock market in here ?

I saw this kid who was jumping for joy a few days after 9/11. He said 9/11 was the greatest thing that happened to him since he came to university. Apparently, he invested in security stocks a few weeks earlier with his student loan. Not surprisingly, he made double (or triple) his original investment in a matter of week or two.

and you`ll see that every single share dropped drasticlly on september but gained it`s original value ( and even more since then )

ya, I've bounced back nicely. portfolio back up to June 2001 levels this month. Jan is flat though.

I'm still in the red on Boeing and Continental but am doing nicely on Southwest Airlines and Lowes.
