Any fans of this tv show? It ended in the 1990's.

For our members from lands unheard of, the show was about Kevin Arnold, an average kid and his story of growing up in middle America during the turbulent 1960's.

The show goes through his life from about Junior High School until after High School Graduation. Along the way he meets his love of his life (Winnie Cooper), deals with a tough dad, an even tougher older brother, and a hippie sister.

The show was just amazing, even though he lives through history making events, the things that have the most impact on his life are his best friend (Paul Pfifer-NOT Marilyn Manson), Winnie Cooper, and his family.

The very last show was the best in telivision history.

At the very end:
"Winnie went to go study art in Paris, and when she came home I met her at the airport...with my wife and son"

I absolutely love "The Wonder Years", as do many friends of mine. Very well written, acted, etc, and the era it is set in is not that far away from my own. I could relate to the timeframe very well. This show brought back a lot of memories for me, especially the
"best friendship" between Kevin and his pal.

I recall Nickleodeon (at least in the US) were showing The Wonder Years until quite recently. You might want to check their schedules just in case.

That last episode was great wasn't it?

I think the WOnder Years is now on TNN. I don't think they ever made it to highschool graduation-the show was cancelled before they got to that point. Apparently that was a sore point for the cast.

I think the series will be moving to the cable channel "ABC Family" pretty soon.

Also, the soundtrack of the whole series was great, but it's too bad the CD wasn't the best.

I still have that last episode on tape somewhere ... I remember the last scene, with that voiceover, was looking down their road at twilight, with a car driving off into the distance (taking Winnie away? - can't remember that bit).

I was a heck of a lot younger then, and thought at the time that Becky Slater was just THE cutest thing on TV. The actress who played Becky (Crystal McKellar) and the actress who played Winnie Cooper (Danica McKellar) are sisters in real life. Crystal gave up acting after that series, and is apparently now a law student at Harvard (according to Internet Movie Database). Danica has just recently begun serious acting again after spending most of the nineties as a student.

I love the show...I used to watch it all the time with my dad when I was younger...its on some channel here I think like around 1pm..which makes it tough to catch...best thing about the show is that Kevin was a Jets fan!

Such a cool show. I thought it was so cool, especially when I was younger and could relate.

You also gotta love his appearance with Peter Faulk in the Princess Bride. Classic  Laugh out loud

The Princess Bride--Loved that movie

Old Bald Dude:"Inconceivable!"
Montoya:"You know, you keep saying that word, but I don't think it means what you think it means."
LMAO  Laugh out loud  Laugh out loud

What ever happened to Winnie Cooper? I had the biggest crush on her.  Love I think I saw her in like one of those cheesy after school specials once, but haven't heard from her for years!

What would you do if I sang outta tune? Would you stand up and walk out on me?

Lend me your ear and I'll sing you a song. I will try not to sing outta key.

Oh baby now. Have a little help from my freinds. I said I need a little help! Yeah!

Sorry, I just had to do it. Thats the song that got me into sixties music. One of the greatest songs of all time.
