Quote:

A series of tornadoes has struck communities across England, damaging homes and vehicles and uprooting trees.
The Met Office confirmed that a squall hit Northampton, where falling branches damaged an empty school bus.

It also said that a violent storm damaged gardens and homes in Luton, Bedfordshire. Part of a factory roof was blown off in Breaston, Derbyshire.

Also affected were Farnborough, Hants, and Nuneaton, Warks. Similar conditions were reported in Ollerton, Notts.

Anyone here affected by this at all?

Are those what are termed undocumented improvements?

Derbyshire is the south and then there is the deep south.

Being from Staffordshire myself, I can say that any change to that wretched county (Derbyshire) is an improvement. What a bloody hole Derby is!

It's worse than Stoke-on-Trent (my home town)!

Lucky I live in London now!  Wink

I'd prefer Derby anyday though compared to that frozen wasteland aka Scotland!  Wink

That's because we've spent a fortune trying to upgrade you lot from cave dwellings to mud huts.

Well it was certainly windy here in Plymouth last night, gusts up to 60mph, but as far as I know we didn't have any Tornados.
