Spent this evening cycling through Blackpool illuminations with my camera. I'm trying to keep fit at the moment. Although it was very windy I quite enjoyed myself. I've uploaded a few shots if anyone is interested in adding anything than is non-av related.

I've not taken many pictures lately, and I used up my good ones in the last thread. Anyway, here are some ones that are more interesting than pretty:

I've posted links to my website before here, so I won't bore you with it again, but I've uploaded some high-resolution images to a remote page of the site in a sort of "portfolio" type thing for some photography jobs I'm trying to get.

These are what I feel are my best shots.

Mustang Island State Park, near Corpus Christi, TX this past summer.

I don't even remember where this was, I wanna say it was near Yachats or Florence in the Oregon coast. I had a rental and basically covered it in dirt for a day, hitting every back road possible. Big grin

It's not my best photograph by a long way and I haven't really edited it either, it's just a shot which I really like. Taken in mid wales a few weeks ago, a young Buzzard spotted looking at a rabbit, didn't seem to know what to do with it, so it may be that the parents killed it and left it to work the rest out.

Yep, the relief on the stairway (to heaven, maybe?) is simply amazing. It contains the names and seals of the popes up to the time the stairway was built.

I didn't realise that, and you certainly wouldn't think it, but I see what you mean: in my pic you can see them both finishing at ground level.

The place is indeed beautiful, particularly the ceilings:
