Hi.

I wonder how much do you read every week/day.

How many hours do you read and how many books per week.

I read a almost a hour every day. I read about 2-3books every week.

How about you ???

About an hour per day for leisure. I've juust stated the Sharpe series by Bernard Cornwell, so that should keep me busy for a few months!

I'm studying for my ATPL when I'm not at work so probably a few hours a day. Seems to be going in one ear and out the other at the moment though  Confused

So I don't have any time for reading proper books at the moment  Smile

I do not read for pleasure anywhere near as much as I feel I should. Its been months since I actually sat down with a book to read for fun.

And since I am back in school most of my reading is strictly academic stuff. Which means reading for fun is probably more important now.

I'm reading two books right now:

Incredible book on the history of Ebbets Field.

Revealing book on how New Orleans and the surrounding areas were tragically failed by the federal government in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

I read three to four books a month, plus about four periodicals that I read cover to cover each month. I read three different online news sources fairly thoroughly each day. And I read every word on the cereal box each time I have a bowl.

About one book every 2 to 3 days, more if the weather goes to hell or in the winter.

For leisure, about 2 hrs a day. If you add work, that'll make a total of about 7 hrs a day. Internet not included.

I'm a compulsive reader and I suffer when I'm removed from printed matter for more than a few hours.  ill

Moo, do you read fiction? If so, have you tried Engleby by Sebastian Faulks? I finished it a couple of weeks ago. Unreliable narrative (i.e., Engleby is a liar!), very witty, very well written.

Usually I read a book during the daily trainride to work, so that's around 1 hr a day. Then from time to time I retreat to the sofa or my bed for some more reading  Smile

Usually about an hour an evening with a book, sometimes more at the weekends. Usually I'll also try and read a newspaper.
