I myself are from the Houma, Thibideaux, La Rose, Leeville area, etc. Extreme southern Louisiana in cajun country. Damn I love it down there. Talk about true southern hospitality and great fishing. If you haven't been down on LA 1 and made the journey from New Orleans down to about Houma and gone for a day of fishing, I highly suggest it. Anyway, is anyone else from Louisiana?

No but I have family down there and have been there many times. I have been to Baton Rouge (Walker;Denham Springs) and of course New Orleans.

I love it down there! Its a fun state with plenty to do. We got boating/water skiiing 4 wheeler riding and all the stuff ya cant do in the city up here in Cleveland.

And the people are so nice. That whole southern hospitality thing is no joke? Everyone seems to in a good mood and be so easygoing. Never really been deep into cajun country though I have been to a little bit of it.

Anyway Lousiana is a great state and I enjoy going there every summer !
