#24 KSU fell to Kansas 30-24
Another week of movement in the Top 25. Crazy season.
Don't think that's quite fair to the Eagles, who are top 10 team. BG has had a solid year so far, but when you move that far up into the rankings, and on the road, you're probably in for a beating, if you're a MAC school. I'm not too upset with their showing.
The Bucks are up 23-0 early in the 4th at Purdue, making their claim for the #1 ranking in the nation.
Not out of the realm. There could be a slew of 1/2 loss teams that have a legit chance of making it to the BCS game. Florida might have thought their season was over last week, but they're right back in it now. And I can see OSU running the Big Ten table. The tough game in their stretch might be Illinois, whom Ron Zook has done a fantastic job of turning around. I think they'll be both Wisconsin and Michigan. Illinois could be the dicey game.
I'm not sold on KU being a threat this season yet after that patsy non-conference schedule of yours, but this was a start to changing my mind on that...nice win for you guys, the Big 12 North race is certainly gonna be mighty interesting this season...

My Hurricanes were getting killed for the most part against North Carolina. They just aren't a good football team this year, I 'm hoping that they'll get into the Emerald Bowl. 6-6 looks tough at this point.

How does the almighty Pete Carroll lose a game in which he is favored by some 40 points?? Man, I bet the LA media made him turn water into wine in the press conference just to make sure it was really him out there.
That said, the madness that has been the last two weeks is almost perfect. Just a few more teams that need to lose and we can once again bash the farce of a system that is the BCS and hopefully move toward something more meaningful that puts championship hopes in the hands of the teams and takes them away from biased writers who are to oft influenced by the equally biased major sports network.
Point in case -- anyone catch Gameday yesterday when Corso predicted a blowout...then realized the game was being played on ESPN's sister station and suddenly revised his prognostication to a good game that opens up later in the fourth quarter.

Hey, I'm not sold either...not by far. But a win is a win, especially against our ranked in state rival. I don't expect to be anything near ranked on Monday (despite what a good chunk of the KU faithful are saying...idiots), but hopefully we can win next weekend at home against Baylor and be 6-0...that would feel goooooood.

Gators lose to LSU, but it's good to see the team spreading out the offense, rather than relying on Tebow to carry the entire load. I'd dis Ohio State for their opponent this coming weekend..perennial powerhouse Kent State (!?!)--but the Gators get to play Florida Atlantic later this season. And FA gave the surprising USF Bulls a good run Saturday.
Interesting season so far(!)
You can say that again! I went to the game, and that was by far the loudest I've ever heard the crowd at Kyle Field. I'm just surprised that OSU kicked the short field goal with about 2 mintes left in the game, and didn't try for the onside kick... Oh well, I'm just glad the Aggies won!

UCLA falls to the number 119 Notre Dame. Notre Dame has been improving game by game, especially the defense. The offense could not do to much yesterday because of the great field position the defense gave them. Hopefully they might be able to give Boston College a run for their money.
