Well, I've seen the first two episodes, and I can categorically say that it sucks. It's not funny and the 'caveman' element might as well just not be there because they don't draw on it whatsoever. It's one and only saving grace is that the original Geico caveman (the one who orders roast duck with mango salsa) is on the show and is his usual sarcastic self. However, he has a tiny part and he suffers the effects of over-zealous producers.
This show will be cancelled. No doubt about it. It's incredibly lame.

Couldn't agree more, also saw Carpool and that was just as big as a train wreck, the Cave Man commercials are good and should have been left at that.

You're one up on me. I caught the pilot on ABC.com when I missed it live because of a meeting. I'm glad I had the meeting...and I frickin' hate meetings.
Yessum. It sure does....so hard it could suck a golfball through a garden hose.

Well I saw the caveman element in it that they are trying to be pretentious asshats who order Americanos and beignets instead of black coffee and a doughnut and not what we would expect cavemen to act like.
Sadly, the humor failed at the worst level because the premise of the damn show isn't even plausible.

Let's just say I made it 15 secs past the opening credits of the first episode. It will be canceled by Halloween, if not before then. It will definitely end up on the next installment of TV Guide's 50 Worst Shows in TV History. It makes me glad that they relocated the setting to San Diego from Atlanta, as I'd be embarrassed for my city.

I had high expectations. Rarely do I make it a point to catch a network TV show, but this one I did. I made it through 10 minutes of the pilot before I changed the channel.

I noticed that as well myself. I'm glad they changed it as well.

I thought it was actually pretty decent... The show has a good foundation to work from: it's something new, not just the usual realityTV, CSI-type, or terrorism shows. The humor was a bit drab, but really the whole premise of the show is irony. And ironic humor is either hit or miss, but it only takes a minor adjustment to get it right.
If ABC doesn't give up on this show, they could really hit one outta the park with Caveman.

Duh!! I knew it was going to be a flop way before it started.
Obsessed is just a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated.

Yeah. I think the verdict was in once ABC greenlighted this puppy.

I never saw Cavemen-but it looked awfully, I mean AWFUL from the previews. I am not the least bit surprised.
Carpoolers though was interesting-has kind of a weird humor to it...

I think they're now overdone. The first one with the confrontation over dinner was good.
And is Geico even sticking with them? It seems like they've stepped up that annoying Geico Gekko a lot lately. No offense to Australians, because I love Australians, but the Gekko's accent grates on my nerves.
