Hello,

I had Office 2000 installed on an old computer running on Windows 1995. Last September I bought a new computer and today I tried to install Office 2000 on it.

It installed fine, however most of the programmes are not working properly. They open and than close a few minutes later (except for MS PhotoDraw and MS Publisher and obviously MS Word which came with this new PC)

I tried re-installing it, same problem again.

Thanks for any replies.

Jeremiah

Seems I'm the lucky one - I'm running both with no problems!

Ditch MS Office and use Corel WordPerfect Suite 2002. It's way better software.

Or go for Star Office - it's free. And good.

And it's not MS.

Hello,

After paying several hundred $ for Office 2000 Pro just 1 or 2 years ago, I would kind of like to at least have some use of it.

I searched the web high up and low down, found 1 person with the same problem but no solution.

Anyone? Please.

Jeremiah
