I thought that this was quite boring, until I heard that some of the teachers at my school take up to 2 hours to get to school each day!!!  Wow!

So how long does it takes you? I walk, just over a mile and it takes me 15-20minutes.

Regards

Dan

1 hour 15 minutes, not counting the time I leave early. I ussually leave 30 minutes early because the public transportation system here (Holland) is a mess.

I can walk in 10 minutes or I can take a free bus that makes me leave 15 minutes early. I live 6 blocks south of central campus.

To work: 2.4 miles in 7-10 min then sometimes another 10 minutes in the hospital parking ramp if I get stuck behind so old geezer driving slower than I can walk while looking for parking spaces.

Trip home: 2.4 miles in 5 min.

If I go to school alone (which is boring) it takes me about 5 minutes. But if I go with my neighbour (Evelina) it takes us about 15 - 30 minutes... We just have so much fun on our way to school... I have detention on Wednesday because we have been to late to many times now.. but who cares?

To school: 1:10 on Boston's regional train system and the walks to/from the stations.

To home: 1:05 on public transportation (bus/subway).

Oh, if I drove, maybe 35 minutes, but I don't own a car, and my school is about 30 km (20 mi) on the opposite end of Boston.

15min drive to bus stop, 1 hour bus ride, 30min walk to school from the bus station. All in all, about 1hr, 45mins. But, when it snows, it can take almost 3 hours. Doesn't bother me much though, I sleep or do work on the bus, and get lots of exercise from all the walking. I actually enjoy it  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

5 miles to work, using the bus (I don't drive): during school/university term time it varies between 40 mins and 1 hour but during school/university holidays it comes down to 15 to 20 minutes.

From 2003/2004, I guess it will come down to 10 minutes  Smile

When driving, it takes me around 5-10 minutes (depending on traffic around school). I leave home at 7:30am and arrive at school around 7:40am. School starts at 7:47am and ends at 3:03pm. I usually take the bus (the public one) home. Sometimes I miss it because it comes at 3:08pm and I get out there to late to catch it. Once I get off the bus, It takes me about 6 minutes to walk home. I usually get home at around 3:17pm.

My Global Studies teacher lives in New Rome Hilliard (a suburb). It's pretty far away (not sure how far though).

As I work from home, no more than 15 seconds to get to my office from anywhere on my property. Sitting in the traffic for an hour plus is for the birds.
