What do I do during the day? That depends on what day it is. I have a varied schedule at Taco Bell where I'm training for assistant manager (don't laugh, they make good money). When I'm not there, I'm either on the net or walking around.

OK you asked... ER tech (slave) Everything from Disimpaction (it has do with constipated people my hand and their bottom, to perfroming CPR in "codes". There are also the assorted xrays and ortho procedures.

The best, although rare for, us are the deliveries (as in baby), thank god I just assist and do not have to do the actual delivery.

The least "fun" have to be the drunks and druggies who have a nice habit of trying to punch, bite, kick etc. So far I'm lucky 1 broken tooth and acouple of bites. Not to mention 3 needle sticks in 12 years with the always fun HIV and hepatitis screening and the prophylactic couse of medication which follows the stick

The most difficult personally to deal with are the deaths prepare about 1,500 dead bodies for the families in view in the ER is sometimes tough, especially when the death is a child.

Lt-AWACS, that sounds very cool. I am reading a book about Shane Osborne (The P-3 Orion pilot that made the emergency landing in China). It seems that they also fly 10-16 hour missions. Your life sounds very cool. As for me, I am a high school student that makes average to above average grades and wants to become a pilot.

thanks ILS, I can't complain. My dad was an Engineer for Bechtel so I got to move all over the world as a kid (though I always come Home to Houston). I love to move and travel. The only bad part is I', stuck in Oklahoma now and Oklahoma sucks beyond compare. Oh and I've read the Shane Osbourne book, but I'll save my comments for now  Big grin

MY Max flight is over 20 hours with three A/Rs once you've been on a plane for more than about 12 hours it can get old. Of course I've been flying more than usual with the Noble Eagle flights. I've maxed my hours for the last 3 months  Sad

For Flying- Try to get as many hours as you can, save your cash and you'll be a pilot in no time. I had my license by my freshman year in College. It just takes 'cash'. Which sometimes college kids don't have, I had enough though I spent it on 6th street and on Girls  Big grin Good Luck with your flying, Ciao
