So it appears I am currently seeking to hire trainers and team leaders for my company, henceforth I am conducting interviews along with the Operations Manager.

The interview consists of three phases; one of which is real-case scenario in which the candidate has to analyse some data and present their conclusion. They have 30 minutes to prepare for this.

During this time yesterday my OM colleague excused himself as he had an urgent phone call to make. After 45 minutes he had still not come back so I inquired on his whereabouts.

It turns out he was replying to a client’s email and had forgotten about the whole thing.

What a fool ! Do you have other examples of someone’s (or your) bad memory.

I was about to comment on my own memory, but I forgot what I wanted to say.

Well, my memory slips from me quite often, like I'll go upstairs looking upstairs and while enroute, I forget what I'm doing and ask myself why I'm on the stairs and not finishing an earlier task...

One time tower gave me the departure frequency, I read it back and as soon as I went to put it in, I drew a blank. Nothing like forgetting the numbers that were heard and repeated only seconds ago! D'oh!  Wink

Yes, I had this conversation between myself and a friend a few days ago;

Me: So, are you coming out for lunch on Saturday?
Friend: Yeah sure, what time?
Me: Midday Saturday, which is tomorrow
Friend: Oh wait, I'm working all weekend, what day was it again?

Sometimes I do wonder  banghead
