Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):

1. Name the 4 Ship captains + 1 starbase (i.e. the leader of each series)

James T. Kirk

Jean-Luc Picard

Benjamin Sisko

Cathrine Janeway

Johnathan Archer

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
2. What is the name of the (interdimentional) race that the Borg could not assimilate

Species 8472

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
3. What is the name of the episode where we first meet Commander Riker?

Encounter at Farpoint STTNG

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
4. What is a mindmeld?

A Vulcan ability to physically touch another person and share thoughts, memories, emotions, experiences.

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
5. What is the title of the head of the klingons?

Klingon Chancellor of the High Council.

First it was Kem'pec, then Gowron (civil war, with Duras family), then Martok. Kahless was the Klingon Emperor starting in the sixth season of TNG.

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
6. Who is Jake?

Ben Sisko dumbass son. Who becomes a reporter, and is a total pussy during the war.

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
7. Who has a dog on a starship?

Captain Archer of the NX-01 Enterprise. Porthos.

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
8. What race is Kes?

Ocompa. OR.... the race of useless characters that eventually get bounced off the show for being too boring, and replaced by one hell of a smoking hot woman.

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
9. What is the name of the first human to fly a warp spacecraft?

Zefram Cochrane, accompanied by William T. Riker and Jordie LaForge.

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
10. Who is the leader of the Borg?

Ugh. Well at first it was established that the Borg were a collective race, all sharing the same thoughts and goals. No one was an individual. However, in Star Trek First Contact a Borg queen was introduced. In Star Trek Voyager we meet the queen again, however she is different from the one we saw in STFC. So this suggests that the leader is not necessarily a specific person, but a special title. The queen says that she was once a seperate species, and was assimilated by the Borg when she was a small child. Thus suggesting that the queen is like any other drone, until specifically chosen to fill the role. In the last episode of Voyager we meet the queen again, however she is the same drone we saw in STFC.

Quoting Swissgabe (Thread starter):
Bonus: Who created Star Trek?

Gene Roddenberry.

I did all of this by memory, so don't hold my answers as 100% truth.

The answers are dead on balls accurate . . .

Next time there's a Trek trivia thread, at least the questions could resemble something not akin to "Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader"  silly

WAAAYY too easy.

1. In order of when the shows were produced - Captain James Kirk, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Captain Benjamin Sisko (commanding officer of DS9, the station), Captain Kathryn Janeway and lastly Captain Jonathan Archer.

2. Species 8472.

3. Encounter at Farpoint (the first episode of TNG).

4. It's a procedure that the Vulcans do that would allow one individual to share his or her thoughts, memories and experiences with another. It isn't restricted to just Vulans but can be performed on other races too, but the initiator I guess can only be Vulan. This is most famously seen in that Season 3 episode of TNG 'Sarek'.

5. Chancellor.

6. I presume you mean Jake Sisko? If so he is Benjamin Sisko's son.

7. Captain Archer.

8. Ocampa.

9. Zefram Cochrane.

10. The Queen.

Bonus question: Gene Roddenberry

Hkg82.

No Star Trek Wikis or googling........

Name the first officer for Captain Pike....her name and the actress who portrayed her...

Who portrayed the surviving senior officer of the Enterprise C and what was the battle where the ship died?

How functional was Data?

What side was black on Frank Gorshins face?

What character did John Tesh play and who else guest starred in that episode?

What different characters has Rene Auberjeanois portrayed on both big and small screen?

No cheating........I came up with these from memory......

Quoting DL021 (Reply 17):
Who portrayed the surviving senior officer of the Enterprise C and what was the battle where the ship died?

No idea about who was the senior officier, but the fight was between Klingons and Romulans at a Klingon Outpost, and the Enterprise C was responding to a distress call, and sacrificed itself to save the outpost. Their sacrifice is considered an act of honour by the Klingon Empire, which allowed them to strengthen their ties with the Federation and salvage the peace treaty of Khitomer, which was about to be broken due to tensions between the Federation and the Klingons.
