An aussie rules supporter decided to get some tattoos done on holiday in Thailand to celebrate his team winning the AFL grand final. However, the Thai tattoo artist took his instructions literally, when they included the words 'right arm' on the artwork..... to make matters worse, they then tattooed 'Gay Premiers 2007' instead of 'Day Premiers 2007'!

I wouldn't get a tatoo in a "bad" part of Toronto let alone anywhere in Thailand.

So to all of you considering getting a tattoo, today's suggestion is to keep an eye on what's going on!!

Breakfast in BHX, lunch in FAO, dinner in TIP, baggage in YYC.

That's just too funny

I'm not dreaming of getting a tattoo, but even if I would, I don't think I'd have it done in Thailand... let alone spelling errors, I would think hygiene standards will leave something to be desired!

Sorry, but is you're not watching the tattooist especially in a foreign country, then its the guys fault for not paying attention to what was going on...

Quoting Melpax (Thread starter):
'Gay Premiers 2007'

well they are a team who carries handbags.

The lesson I think is get the guy to draw what he is going to do in pen, check it, then give him the go ahead.... or just not get one at all

Everyday is a gift…… but why does it have to be a pair of socks?

No, I wanted that. Plus being in the South, its like a foreign country so I watched Bubba the redneck as he did my tat as well.

Also, never get a tat when drunk or high in a foreign country.  drunk  I would also be very afraid of getting diseases from a foreign tattoo (ie: outside of Europe, Japan, USA where legal). I guess there was a slight language barrier with that tat artist. Maybe he was drunk or high too. Then you have to get a corrective to that tattoo, facing more pain and laughs from the correction tattooist.

Well, it's a good thing KROC's Mets tatoo didn't fade as fast as the boys from Queens this past September.

I was in the local Jimmy Johns a couple months back and there was a guy sporting one of thise chinese character tattoos on his neck so I asked him "What does that mean?"

He says something like "Noble Warrior" or some such crap.

I ask How do you know? I mean, it could mean "needle dick the bug fucker" for all you know.

Stunned silence.

Exeunt.
