I LOVE baseball, but Bud Selig has got to go. Dude is going to kill the game. It's less than a month until Spring Training, and dude is still trying to contract teams. There is still no Collective Bargaining agreement (and that won't stop this season, but couild pose a huge problem next year). There are issues like salary caps, revenue sharing, the fact that baseball supposedly is going KMart errrrr bankrupt. This guy needs to be removed from the commissioners seat, and replaced by someone who does not have there head up there a$$! Keep the Twins, and send the Expos to D.C. Why does Canada have a team anyway if they won't support it.....

The only reason he wants to get rid of the Twins is so that he can increase the market share of the Brewers. Which his daughter runs.
The plan is to play Brewers games in Minni when the Twins are eliminated.

Exactly, yet he isn't to concerned about Peter Angelos gripe (he is a dick too, and not that I care, but this makes Selig a hypocrite) about moving a team to D.C. cutting into his share of the market.

He's just want the owners want: someone who will keep labor strife; someone who will blame the players for the salaries being out of control, when in fact, they're at fault.
As for contraction, Minnesota is being blackmailed by baseball into building a new ballpark for the Twins-at taxkpayers expense. I think Selig is in trouble over this issue, especially since he got a huge loan from Twins' owner Carl Pohlad, a few years back.
I agree with you KROC, there will never be "normalcy" in baseball until this clown goes. Sadly, the owners love him, so that may not be any time soon.
