To all US citizens (and everyone who is our friend and ally, or who just wish to celebrate with us) everywhere in the world (some of whom are already celebrating) HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
I'm thankful for the US servicemen and women everywhere who are defending us now and have done so in the past leaving me all this freedom and liberty I've been enjoying and that's made everything else we do possible.
I'm thankful for the circumstances that led to my being able to start two businesses in the last 5 years.
I'm thankful for my family and friends, both here in ATL and those of you reading this around the world. If you aren't already on my RR list it's because they only let me put as many as I have on there. You guys to whom I've grown close over the last several years on this site know who you are.
I'm thankful for the pioneers of this world throughout history without whose courage, initiative and drive we would not be here.
I'm thankful for my wife. She's the bedrock of my life.

Hi DL021 from SmithAir747!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I still remember the time we met at the Cadogan Hotel in London a year or so ago.
I'm doing well in my craniofacial PhD program at UCSF.
Today, I'm flying up to SEA for the Thanksgiving weekend, as a friend (my former pastor of my church in London) invited me to be with him and his wife for Thanksgiving.

Where we sat in the same room that Clemens and Wilde made fun of the passing aristocats!

Excellent! I'd expected nothing less, of course!

Have a GREAT trip! Try not to guzzle all of their pink grapefruit juice!

Same here. In addition to being thankful for my health, family, friends and fortune I am also thankful for the Constitution of the United States of America, our legislative and judicial systems. They're not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but they're better than any other form of government that I have yet to see.
For those who will be traveling (whether by air, automobile, train, ship or bus), be happy and safe.

I'm thankful for a loving family, and for my wife who is healthy and beautiful. And I am thankful for the two babies growing in her, who are also healthy and beautiful.
And I am thankful for my brothers and sisters in arms, especially those who celebrate today while serving in a combat zone.
