For the last week or so everytime I go on the internet I keep getting disconnected from as little as a couple of minutes online to about half an hour...it was fine before.
Also pages are taking ages to load....
Any suggestions as to how I could fix it or what has caused it?

If it's DSL it could be....shoot I can't remember the exact name....some kind of "storm"
Your ISP servers search the entire network for active IP adresses and it can cause this sort of "storm". I used to have the same problem till my ISP upgraded something on their end. I think that's how it was but I'm far from an expert!!

I had this same problem after I reformatted my harddrive. No one knew what was causing it, not even Dell. It turned out that my modem speed was set too high. Try going to dial-up networking, and set your modem speed to 38.4 if it's not there already. That solved my problem.
