Well, did not want to say anything on here until I had sorted one more thing, and that was sorted about 30 min ago.

On the 24th October I went to London for an Interview with BA who I currently work for. Better pay, a uniform position, and a lot more responsibility than my current position.

I went through a kinda hard test, and an interview with 2 nice people that calmed me down as it had been a bit of a morning lol.

Well, on the 19th November, at around 1600, I got a message, called a number, and was informed I had been successful and had passed. I was given a start date of the 14th January at LHR. WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO

I today got a place to live, in West Drayton in a converted mill house (Flat share with one other guy, non airline related) with a nice pub opposite, and Im told a decent Sunday dinner pub 10 min walk down the road in Bucks.

I have been up here in Manchester for just under 3 years now, so am leaving a lot of Friends (and my best mate who's the closest thing I have to a brother (u know who u are) ) up here for a move to London (AHHHHHHHHH)

Going to defiantly be an interesting 2008 I feel

Hope you're well up on your ticketing skills, you'll be dealing with a LOT of complex changes to partially used tickets. BA are rolling out Ticket Changer so hopefully a lot of it will be automated, but you'll need to know your Res and Ticketing, I reckon - lots of last minute changes and rebooks if people miss their connections.

It will mean learning a new system, but its a LONG training course, so should get all i need. I'm uptodate on fare rules and the like as do changes at the moment (as well as sales)

I think the universe is somewhat preoccupied with the trail of scorched earth you're generally leaving behind. That may explain why it's not in a mood to bestow any favours on you on top!

The fact that it isn't pampering you with any ticket upgrades should tell you a thing or two about its mood...
