I found these Finnish short films called Rare Exports 1 & 2, telling a story (in English) how Santa's are hunted and trained in Lapland, to be perfect export products. Absolutely hilarious! But NOT for little kids...

Merry Christmas time and all the best for 2008 to everyone!

Don't believe anything you read on the net. Except this. Well, including this, I suppose.

Great stuff isn't  Wink I don't understand why these were hidden in YouTube, haven't seen them on TV or anywhere, protecting children?....The dark haired tuff looking 'hunter', Tommi Korpela, is nowadays a popular actor in Finland.

They did show those at least during the last Christmas day on the channel Nelonen, around midnight. Absolutely brilliant stuff! Big grin

I think they are doing well at RVN, generally they will break the new record in the Santa Business this Christmas: around 600 charters and 110 000 visitors expected to Lapland. I just hope they don't show these films on those flights  Wink

The Rare Exports is not suitable for the little kids for sure, but I went to see this new Christmas film with a 7y old, she really liked it. The Christmas Story tells about Santa's childhood in Lapland, "hundreds of years ago", well made stuff.
The film is Finnish, but will be exported.
