Jamie Lynn Spears, Jessica Simpson, But No Bush?

Does the obvious dumbing down of America now have roots planted into A.net?

It seems there are plenty of 'senseless' threads in Non- Av curently... but it seems Bush 'related' political discussions 'ESPECIALLY NOW' given the 'newest scandals'. Are these subjects too toxic (flamebait) to engulf..so we're reduced to Jessica Simpson-ish gibberish?

Um, maybe people are just sick of political threads at the moment? They will return soon, have no fear.

Just wait until the next Hugo Chávez thread to get some distraction from celebrity nobodies like Jamie Lynn and Jessica Simpson.

Wow.

For a minute there, reading the title, I thought this was going to be a thread complaining about the Bush twins not getting pregnant.  duck

Ya know, I thought about canning this thread . . . really . . .

But my curiosity is piqued . . .

What current scandals . . . if you're going to make allegations, at least have the courtesy to post some sources for your disdain . . . and please try - as hard as it may be - to post them from a credible source(s).

If you took the time to create this thread about why there aren't such discussions, why not just create a thread about said discussion, rather than one complaining about the lack of it?

Sick of political and celebrity threads (soon). Maybe we should start some threads with train videos or other non-controversial things.  scratchchin

Well normally one can get 'news headlines' right off the bat here in Non-Av faster than you can of CNN..

I'm actually amazed at how no one is mentioning the WH trying to pull a fact one with the destruction of the CIA-tapes..telling everyone to back off -

..and Federal Courts saying 'Oh not so fast there, swifty...

then..

A Republican.. not a DEM.. calls for an Investigation...

House vows to pursue CIA inquiry
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationwo...737.story?coll=la-headlines-nation

Serious accusations among the DC pollys that the order to do this comes 'straight from the top'
Plus it is alleged that Bush, Cheney & Gonzo has fingerprints all over this one...

Congress prepares subpoenas on CIA tapes
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22327718/

and just like the unexpected NIE report...then comes this

CIA will release videotape documents
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071220/ap_on_go_co/cia_videotapes

..will the whole story be told? It appears regardless of what the story is... the WH has just pissed a way it's last drop of credibility-

The more daunting and brewing scandal being cooked up is the 'possible surfacing of information that Bush knew of the NIE report as last March (if not earlier) while saying he had just found out and scaring the be-jesus out everyone with Iran-WW III rhetoric....

But I do find my curiosity of whether or not Jamie Lynn is really pregnant far more pressing... pppffffffttttttt -... as if-

Because Spears, Simpson are a lot better looking than President Bush. I also suspect that many here have just been played out of the continuing run of scandals of the Bush Administration.

They don't have a bush? In little-sister-Spears's case, we probably are better off knowing, even though her sister clearly has no bush. Now Daisy Duke on the other hand....

Christ on a crutch! I gotta agree with BN to a degree here. Jamie Lynn's current predicament is nowhere near as newsworthy as a half dozen other items that are facing us, and the time spent on her situation could be spent digging deeper into the ones that matter.

But there is always the need for light distractions.......

I read some of it.....and I know who Daisy was....does that count?

Okay...that's scary.. I can't believe that 'you' found the time to poke and peek into 'the Jaime Lynn' thread..

...kudos for admitting to it tho'...lol!
