Not drunk yet... just a couple shots o' whiskey fireball. I'm feeling like Kahlua and eggnog right now though.

So it's Christmas Eve, starting to get a little late. You Drunk Yet? This could be a fun thread.

Cheers
Carson

I had a bit of Bailey's in eggnog, I feel really bad though, I never drink otherwise.
Oh well it's Christmas eve, it's not gonna kill me.  Smile

I've had half a 26 of Polar Ice & Coke over the last few hours... surprisingly, I just feel more tired than anything.

Brandy.

I wonder how many brandy filled chocolates it'd take to get drunk.  Wink

You'd be puking your guts out from all that sugar long before you were feeling the effects of the brandy...  Wink

I may have gotten loaded at my grandparents, but given my resentment towards them for personal reasons, I decided not to show up at their shindig. So at the moment, I'm sober as a judge.  no

Had a couple beers, nothing too special. I was offered a Vodka and Coke, but declined. I'm saving my liver for tomorrow and for New Year's Eve.

Mom, on the other hand, is drunk. Not cute/funny drunk, flat-out, mean-as-a-snake drunk. Dad has to sleep on the couch tonight, I guess.

Hope everyone is having a great Christmas.

Sadly I'm not. Christmas eve was totally lame this year. I think I was more loaded walking through Barneys after brunch yesterday.

Too late for a Bailey's for me, plus we have absolutely no Eggnog available. But maybe, just maybe, I'll crack open one of those two bottles of Argentinian made Fernet Branca we have stashed tomorrow.  Wink

I doubt anyone would want to be near her when she's as drunk as she is now. She had something like 9 or 10 martinis in the course of three hours. I'm hiding up here until Christmas morning, Carson.

Until dad gives the "all green", I am not moving my posterior from my (rather comfy) chair.

Lame excuse. Drink up.
By the way, vodka & coke isn't a good mix.  no
Vodka goes good with tonic water, 7-up, Sprite, cranberry juice, tomato juice or orange juice.
Coke goes good with Whiskey, Rum or Brandy.

Same here. Last time that happened was when I was in the Bahamas-drank too much of the eggnog with the brandy in it and ended up with a killer headache. Spent most of the day laying flat on my back on top of the bed. That did it for me-most I'll have is a couple of glasses of wine at the formal dinner.

I was at a party organised by some flight attendants for all of those who couldn't go home to their families over christmas (I have to work on boxing day, so no chance to hop over to DUB to see the missus).
Bad choice. With the high turnover at our airline almost all people I knew have left and have been replaced by 18-22 year old kids. The girls sure look cute, but that's about it. Those crews who are more in my age range (late 20s early 30s) are mostly gone, either they quit completely or, due to thier seniority, moved to other, nicer bases (HHN is not very popular with flight crew because it is in a very rural area, it is 50 km to the next bigger town with cinemas and night clubs).
I went there around midnight, but left two hours later, having drunk just one bottle of beer , some orange juice and coke (I wouldn't have drunk much more anyway, since I have to drive home, I didn't finish the camper conversion on my truck yet).

Larry, I had like 5 beers today, I don't think my liver can handle any more. Plus, I got to stay (relatively) sober for tomorrow, Boxing Day, as I have to work. Lousy Wal-Mart super sales. They piss me off, making me want to drink more.

What surprises me, is that mom wasn't grouchy after being drunk last night. Must've been the good sleep she had last night (fell asleep at 12:00AM, woke up at 12:30PM).

Hope everyone's enjoying their Christmas.  Smile
