Just when I was beginning to think I had seen most everything..

A boy chases off someone more then twice his age .. with a toy Lightsaber..

The force was with him..

The average chav 11 year old doesn't need a lightsaber to fend people off, he just needs to pull the 6-inch flick-knife out of his pocket and stab somone.  Wink

And just what in the hell was an 11 year old doing playing with a star wars toy? By 11 I was more interested in wine, women and leisure footwear!

Bloody kids today, it's no wonder the world is going to the wall!

Statistically, people who have had the most birthdays tend to live the longest.

Nah.. Yoda sensed too much fear.. And fear leads to pain, pain leads to hate and hate leads to.. suffering..

I thought the kid would be 5 or 6 when I saw the heading, that way it would at least be a human interest story on how brave a little kid had been to save his mummy.

sadly they don't. they spend so much time on Hollywood and other stories that have no meaning in life. I stopped watching them, but I do love their morning show "fox & friends"

EDIT: just looked at Fox News home page: their front page story "welcome to a Taser party"
CNN front story "Searchers check ravines for missing hiker"

Be that as it may, but the headliner for the CNN news today was Britney Spears, not the Iowa primaries. Those were second, and I don't think they spent much if any more time on them than on Britney's antics. Not that our commercial stations were any better, but fortunately we've got proper public ones setting the news standards.

Airlinelover, maybe you should find a more trustworthy news source than FOX. These are all the threads you posted TODAY(!) that are based on FOX News articles. It almost looks like you're paid by Rupert Murdoch to post everything on their web site here on A.net.

There are 25-35 year old star wars fans in NY and LA that formed a light-saber Star wars club, apparently this kid is allright.
