I just got a new dog. just a mutt. My nephew was patrolling in his cruiser(he is a Deputy Sheriff) and saw some kid throwing rocks at her. She is real cute, like a Pug- Whippet- Chihuahua mix. Will post a pic in a few. But she likes baby carrots. Never heard of a dog that likes carrots.

We have one dog (9 years old) who likes grapes, and the 12-week old Yorkie who just came to live with us ran off with a bloody great slice of apple the other night. I also have a cat who goes nuts over the brine that comes in the olive jars...

Instead of giving my dogs regular treats, I give them carrots. They LOVE carrots; anytime I open the fridge they go crazy.

Welcome aboard!

Had a cat that would eat dill pickles. Would actually take them from my daughter.

Awh, what a cute dog. Thanks for giving her a loving home, I hate to see animals mistreated. You did a real great thing, and I'm sure she appreciates it too!! Hope you guys have many happy healthy years together!! Big grin

I know and I'm not gay either(sort of a prerequisite for owning a cute little dog). Her name is Curly-Sue. She is still a puppy, but has had her first heat. Am getting her fixed as soon as the vet can work her in. But my cats don't know what to think of her. She just wants to play, but they think she is attacking. Guess time will tell.

She's a great looking dog, in spite of the odd remarks made by her new owner.  Smile

Ok, so I'm a little homophobic and I admit it.

Curly-sue is a perfect name for her. A MANLY name for a little dog.

Cute dog.

Is it me or do her eyes look a bit cloudy?

It's just you, or the camera flash. Her eyes are clear.

Totally agree , my dog was abandoned and I picked him up as a puppy. He is the best pet I have ever had.

Just an FYI - grapes can be deadly to dogs.

Also that is one great dog and rescued dogs that get a second lease on life turn out to be the BEST dogs ever. Now from a gay man Curly Sue would make a good drag queen name.

Agreed.

My cousin named his male (!!) dog princess Harlequin so I guess there's worse.

Cute dog though
