Four games games this weekend that look to be good ones.

Seattle and Green Bay are playing in a thickening snowstorm at Lambeau (which makes it great to watch), and the Packers are up 42-20 at the start of the 4th quarter.

Jacksonville and New England play later tonight. I hope the Jags pull it out, but they have their work cut out for them.

Tomorrow, it's the Chargers and the Colts, followed by the Giants and the Cowboys. I'd love to see the Colts and Cowboys go down in flames, but I don't think it'll happen.

Post your picks, thoughts, comments, trash talk, etc.

Helluva game, now THAT'S football weather! Looks like the Packers are having a lot of fun playing out there! I think they are coming up on a peak and will give Dallas all kinds of hell next week.

Edited for typo.

yes  When you can't see the field markings, it's got to be good.

The Pack putting up 42 (to this point) is impressive by itself, but particularly so in those conditions.

No doubt!

This Pack Hawks game is fantastic! I'm glad I took the over, seeing as it was hit about 8 minutes into the second.

As for tonights game, I'd like to see New England absolutely whip the Jags six ways to Sunday. After the Jags eliminated Steelers last week I want nothing less that total annihilation by New England  Wink

Pats all the way. I believe the Pats will pull it out and add another Win to the column. It will be hard for the Jags to pull it out.

Even when it was 14-7, I thought it was going to be the Packers all the way. You could feel the momentum shift right then.

I love watching football in the snow! I wish it was snowing like that here in MD.  Smile

Go Jags, Giants, and Colts!  Big grin

Yeah I wish it was like that here in West Texas, too. It would have been fun shooting in the Practical Pistol match I went to this morning in the snow!

I'm not so sure, they looked pretty damned good tonight. Favre was relaxed and comfortable and when he's like that he's at his very best.

I DO want it, but I'm not sure I see it happening. I wouldn't bet on it either way. Then again, the way Dallas played 2 weeks ago, they won't make it past NY.

First drives don't get much better than that.

Huge pass play on 4th and 1 (Jack Del Rio certainly has balls), and then the TD pass from Garrard while falling down (which was questionable, but would have been tough to overturn).

7-0 Jax.

Ryan Grant looked great after the 2 fumbles. Props to Mike McCarthy for leaving the kid in there and keeping with him. Some coaches might have pulled him early. Favre did look really good, I half-expected him to come out in Favre-style panic mode when it was 14-0, throwing balls where he shouldn't and taking too many chances, but he kept his poise and turned the game around in a hurry.

If the Cowpokes win this week, I give them the edge against GB, particularly given Favre's 0-9 record at the Stadium With the Hole in the Roof. I don't like the Giants chances if they have to go to GB.

I watched "NFL's Greatest Games 1998 NFC Wild Card Game" where the 49ers beat the Packers on the last play of the game, and it renewed my long-standing hatred of Brett Favre and the Packers.  Smile

Goo -- Pittsburgh Steelers of the South!! I hope they come on top over the Pats! They can do it!! It's all tied up at 14, but NE has the ball. Hopefully they'll only be confined to a FG after this drive... Hopefully.

JAX better not slow down in the second half. They've seen what the Steelers almost did to them last week, but Tom Brady invented that!

Can't complain with a tie score at the half if you're a Jags fan. If you keep it close, you've got a chance.

For the second half, they need to keep doing what they're doing, plus stop letting the Pats gain yards after the first hit.

If they can do that, then they should change their name to the Jacksonville Steelers!!  Wink  stirthepot

Jacksonville should really focus on disquising its defense to try and confuse Tom Brady. Keep moving them around and changing the linups. This usually results in sacks and/or bad throws...

And yeah, basically what you posted. They need to play to win, keep shoving it down Brady and Belichick's throats, humiliate them!!

But they're not doing it. Every time New England gets the ball, you know it's a touchdown. Jags are down by two scores now, and something different needs to happen on this drive or else this one is over.
