Hi everybody, I've got a question concerning the US comedy FRIENDS:
Yesterday I read an article that in the very last episode, Rachel Green (acted by Jennifer Aniston) will die She won't survive the birth of her child.
Rachel pregnant? Hmmmmm... keep in mind that on German TV, we currently see the 1998/1999 episodes, so I'm really not up-to-date with the plot of later episodes. Can anybody please tell me: Who is the father of Rachel's baby?
[My personal guess would be Joey(!), but I might be wrong. Or is it Ross???]

Ross is the father, but Joey is falling in love with Rachel and in the last episode Joey finally told Ross about his feelings at the end of the show. We'll have to wait for the Olympics to be over to see the next episode and find out how Ross feels about this.

Rwy31R: Jennifer Aniston? Movies? Really? I have only seen one single movie with her, I can't remember the title (and even if I could, it would be the German title). The one with the taxi driver in New York, who falls in love with a female passenger. Jennifer Aniston plays the taxi-driver's brother's wife, I think. You know what movie I'm talking about? It was not bad.
Seb146: If I'm not mistaken, it's the end of the show, the final episode. So it doesn't matter if she dies or not, there won't be any more episodes, with or without Rachel. And yes, that episode you're talking about was on air last week, one of the better episodes!

Matt LeBlanc was on Jay Leno and he said that they are talking about coming back and I don't thing they would come back without Rachel so my guess is she won't die.

I saw a comercial today on NBC that they're comming back to do another season in the fall. Why would the #1 show in America get canceled, that doesn't make sense.

Things seemed to be going fine at the beginning, she was telling me she doesn't want a relationship right now and it's better for me if nothing happens between us at the moment and we were friends. But recently, she found someone else.
Hasn't changed anything about the fact I'm in love with her though.

Aio86: I really hope that Friends continues. It's really funny, especially when you see the episodes for the first time, not those damn repeats. But remember the NBC(?) slogan: "If you haven't seen it yet, it's new to you!" Anyways, I think I've read an interview with Matt LeBlanc that he is definitely interested in new episodes, but he is "not sure" if the other actors are interested, too

We're still friends and sit next to each other in Italian private lessons (where we met), to her everything is probably okay but I was heartbroken when she told me she "can't go out with me at the moment". I have a pack of notes to give back to her on Thursday...
