I would like to know if it is possible to download the non-commercial videos that are on sites like Youtube or Google Videos or other similar sites, and how to proceed. Also I have no idea if it is legal to download them.
Thanks a lot in advance for your answers.

If you download the latest version of realplayer, and you are watching videos, an icon pops up if you put your cursor over the video in the top right hand corner saying download this video. It is free to download as well.
If the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour.'

You can download videos from Youtube and Google videos using a site such as http://www.grabyoutubevideos.com/ or http://downloadyoutubevideos.com. These will let you save the videos as a Flash Video .flv file. You'll then need a flash video player to watch them locally on your PC. There are lots of free ones around. I personally use VLC as it plays pretty much every format I need.
