Reminds me of a story I heard a few years back.
Moe: Didja hear the news?
Joe: No.
Moe: Michael Jackson and Tanya Harding are starting a horse racing track.
Joe: Do tell.
Moe. Tanya does the handicapping and Michael rides the three year olds.
with that said...Billie Jean and Thriller were pretty good stuff.

From a music standpoint, he is awesome. Billie Jean, Thriller, Don't Stop ('Till You Get Enough), and even when he was with The Jackson 5, he was cute, hip and happening.
From a tabloid standpoint, he is way too over-dramaticized. Personally, I couldn't care less what the tabloids say about him, he is a decent person. I really hope his life continues to push forward and flourish.

Extremely talented. Extremely screwed up. A terrific dancer and performer, and one of the weirdest guys in the known universe. Definitely someone I would like to meet and talk to.
You know Im bad, Im bad-you know it , incidentally , having just googled the lyrics of "Bad" I have to say I find it extremely funny in a sick sort of way that the first line of the song is your butt is mine - perhaps a case of ( as REM would put it ) "this one goes out to the one I love" ?

AFAIK he was released of "prison" because there were no proves ...
Ever considered the fact that there was no proof because he payed hush money to save whats left of his 'image'?
What I want to say about him would get me banned or something like that, but I will this, he is a dirty person who can't be trusted with kids, and babys (just need to refer to the incident where he held his son over the railing of a balcany). His whole face doesn't help him. His dance moves give him a bad image. If he is so not guilty about the things in the media, then why has he escaped the problems and moved to another country? Some would say that he has escaped these things for a fresh start, but it really shows that he is weak and can't handle things like that.

His best albums were 'Off The Wall' (1979) and 'Thriller' (1982).
'Bad' (1987) was ok and 'Dangerous' (1991) only had a few songs I thought were decent.
I bought the 3 LP box set 'History' (1995) and 'Invincible' (2001) and like all artist, eventually lose their creativity with age.
Back in 1992 when I still lived in Southern California, I did get the opportunity to go to his house; The Neverland Ranch. Not as a guest but to ride along and help a friend of mine who was an independent delivery truck driver.
He had to deliver a 9' tall glass sculpture that was shipped out from a New York art gallery to Los Angeles. He then picked it up from a shipping yard and drove it out in his bobtail delivery van to Los Olivos, California.
Michael Jackson was not there but his staff was. I felt like I was at a mini Disneyland, if there ever was one. There were Peter Pan statutes and Tinker Bell statues all over the place as well as life-size model trains and lots of little rides.
If I was 7 years old, I would have loved the place.
The funniest thing I remembered was when we first arrived. The two guys that received this large box on behalf of Michael Jackson totally reminded me of Wayne & Garth from Wayne's World. They were paid to drive around the Neverland Ranch in a golf cart. not a bad gig for a early 20-something year old The first thing they said when we opened the door of the truck was; "Whoa what on earth did Michael buy this time?!?!?!"

Michael Jackson? Uhm, 2 or 3 good songs, was a cute kid, became a kinda monster....Either he had the worst surgeons, he could get, or he didn't know when to stop with that surgery thing.. He's a weirdo par excellence...
We're talking about a guy who regularly gave children wine and told them it was just "Jesus Juice". I have no problem if parents let their kids have a sip of wine or beer, to later learn to drink responsibly and for them to try it, or if kids have a small sip of wine while having communion in the Church, but if you intentionally feed them with wine and lie about it to those kids, then this is proof of child abuse; it also is proof that he has the intention of molesting those kids because he's getting them drunk so they are more prone to suggestion and thus easier to manipulate before, during, and after the act.
Wacko Jacko may have done good music during his time in the Jackson 5 and during the 80's and very early 90's when going solo, but the only thing that matters, is that Michael Jackson is a child molester who should have gone to prision over a decade ago for pedophilia, and should have lost custody of all his children for being an irresponsible father (remember when he dangled one of his babies from a balcony in Berlin?).
Quoting Lobster (Reply 21): I think his sorry ass should of been in jail along time ago.

He's a no talent freak, who makes his "living" off the backs of other professionals. Of the 9 songs on his "Thriller" album, he wrote 4. 2.5 of the 10 on "Off The Wall", 12 of 14 off "Dangerous". Most, if not all of his hits were written and arranged by others, all he did was supply a vocal track. Anyone with a decent singing voice can do that.
As for his pedophilia, any parent who would let their kid alone with him after hearing the stories should be taken out back, slapped into semi consciousness and charged with child endangerment.
Actually, Hershey is coming out with a Micheal Jackson candy bar. White chocolate, with no nuts.
