This be my poison of choice. Poison it is indeed.
Caffeine, taurine, alcohol, sugar. A party drink and a half!
A generally bad idea!

I actively choose Coca-Cola over booze in many situations. Especially if they've got it in bottles. If there's Coke sealed in a glass bottle, count me in.

Shot and a beer. Beer and a shot. Shot and a beer........  duck

It really depends on my mood. Beer is definitely the usual choice (And the type of beer depends on my mood, so I usually have a few choices in the fridge), but scotch and vodka are among my favorites as well. Occasionally, I'll get a bottle of wine or get a bottle of sake. In the last several months, I've also developed a taste for gin.

Their version is brewed under license up there by a Canadian brewer. It tastes different (IMO, worse) than our domestic version. Besides, I bet I could take Budweiser (or many other domestic brews), put it in a fancy green bottle that says "imported" on the label and half the A.net beer snobs would think it's tasty.

If you truly enjoy drinking beer you'll reach for different flavors depending on your mood and budget at the moment.

When I'm not in an adventurous mood this is what I buy :

If you lived someplace that fucking cold you would perfect drinking too.

I have a bottle of goose in the freezer, the night off work (I'm sick *cough* see) so if something decent comes on tv and some cool people get on IM im getting drunk.

I guess it's like Mexican vs. American beer. You go down there and they can't believe we drink Corona.

27 BAGoldEx : Gale Force or Hendrick's Gin & Tonic, if neither are available, Tanqueray is acceptable Johnnie Walker Black, Green, Blue, neat Macallan 12 yr., neat
28 Post contains images Surfpunk : Either this: Or a martini with this:
29 JGPH1A : Depending on mood/location... Aperitif: Martini Bianco on a couple of ice cubes, with a slice of lemon. Informal dining: Pomegranate or standard marga
30 Post contains images CaptOveur : Nobody likes a quitter. As far as beer goes.. I can drink it but I am not a big fan. My worst ever beer memory is from a few weeks ago. During drunke
31 Post contains images ThePRGuy : If its a fine white, it has to be a New Zealander, specifically one of these: Otherwise: Cosmopolitan style or with Coke. Alex
32 Post contains images JGPH1A : Yummm. There's another NZ Semillon Chardonnay comes in a blue bottle that's good too - it has fish on the label. Being a serious wine connoisseur, I
33 CaptOveur : I go by price tag.. $8-$15 Sometimes I do rather well... Sometimes I do very, very badly.
34 ThePRGuy : I've tried most of the cloudys and the Sauvignon Blanc is my favourite. I can get a case for around £20-25/bottle so its quite pricy, but well worth
35 Post contains images Graphic : Cyanide with a side of Arsenic and Speedball. Oh wait, you're talking about the kind you consume yourself...
36 Post contains images JGPH1A : That's a good rule of thumb, but it's very difficult to apply in France - even quite good wines can be under EUR5.00 a bottle (only the superior wine
37 CaptOveur : I first tried one of these a few weeks ago. I was pretty impressed and promptly killed probably 4 bottles of the stuff in the week that followed. How
38 Post contains images RicciPettit : And also... PARTY ANIMAL!! haha
39 JGPH1A : I'd imagine that the Cotes du Rhone that gets exported is probably the top end stuff, so I'm not surprised you enjoyed it. I had an excellent Caberne
40 Post contains images Comorin : You have excellent taste - that is my white of choice. I do urge you to check out Randall Grahm's Boony Doon Vinyards (He's an ex Brit) in California
41 Post contains images JGPH1A : Ta for noticing - one tries... Duly noted. Is Don Julio available outside Mexico ? Rioja is good with dead cow. I make a vicious boeuf bourgignon wit
42 Comorin : We do get it here in NYC... Rgds
43 Post contains images JGPH1A : You can get ANYTHING in NYC, usually delivered to your house at any time day or night, with free ice (lucky bastards ). I live in France, where we on
44 ThePRGuy : I certainly do have excellent taste! Not just with drink neither! I believe I have tried one of these wines, but I can't be certain, it was at a posh
45 Post contains images Toast : It's Listerine in a nice bottle.
46 Comorin : But your streets are cleaner than ours! Honestly, all the doggies in my neighborhood seem to be suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome...
47 JGPH1A : Hehe. Every Scotsman who has ever lived (and quite a few other snobby types) are no doubt spinning in their graves
48 Post contains images Toast : Hey, I just had a brilliant idea to solve the energy crisis. Dead Scot turbines.
49 Post contains images JAGflyer : I'm home this weekend from school and my liver is on a break. College really tires out the liver, trust me.
50 JGPH1A : Nah - even though they're dead they'll still as for time-and-a-half, and double-time on weekends.
51 Post contains images Dougloid :
52 CATSFAN : Maker's Mark and Diet Coke, Woodford Reserve and Diet Coke is a close second.
