I have yet to see any "after" pictures of the New York City Skyline. I'm sure they exist.

As an example, below is a "before" picture.

Does anyone have any pictures taken from the same location that shows what NYC looks like now?

Any "same spot" before and after pictures are welcome.

You know I've heard people say that without the WTC it looks no different than any other large North American city. Well, I think just from the sheer size of the city that's not true, but from this view it could be Houston for all we know...nothing impressive...kinda sad really  Sad

Matt, I have been down there almost every weekend to visit my dad, and let me tell you, I still don't believe they aren't there. I always saw the Twin Towers as I went from the burbs of Upstate NY, to where my dad lives. It's very sick because I knew many people who worked there and died there. I don't know what else to say...I....

I realize this photo is just a before picture of the events, but it is one of my favorites, a very nice picture.

I flew past Manhattan descending into JFK last December. Personally, I think Lower Manhattan loses a lot of its visual stature without the existence of the World Trade Center towers. Midtown looks like the real downtown to me now.
