You know I've heard people say that without the WTC it looks no different than any other large North American city. Well, I think just from the sheer size of the city that's not true, but from this view it could be Houston for all we know...nothing impressive...kinda sad really

Matt, I have been down there almost every weekend to visit my dad, and let me tell you, I still don't believe they aren't there. I always saw the Twin Towers as I went from the burbs of Upstate NY, to where my dad lives. It's very sick because I knew many people who worked there and died there. I flew past Manhattan descending into JFK last December. Personally, I think Lower Manhattan loses a lot of its visual stature without the existence of the World Trade Center towers. Midtown looks like the real downtown to me now.
