Its the Giants against the Pats in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The Pats beat the Giants (just bearly) in the regular season, week 17.

So far this year the New England patriots are undefeated, 18-0 so far this year. Three years ago, they set the two seasoin record with 21 wins in a row.

The only other team to go undefeated was the 1972 Miami Dolphins, when the NFL season was just 14 games. The 1985 Bears almost went undeafeated with an 18-1 season, they lost the one game to the Dolphins.

So, who will win it this year?

New England Patriots?

or?

New York Giants?

I say, the Pats, score 42-10

Tough call. I want the Pats to win, because I'm f'ing sick and tired of hearing about the 72 Miami Dolphins.

OTOH, I will get some mind-blowing victory sex if the Giants win, since my SO is a passionate Giants fan.

Logic says the Pats in a close one. Emotion says.......well, you get the drift, I'm sure.  Smile

Well, I admit I'm biased, been a Giants fan for close to 40 years. I say the G-Men win a tight game, on a Tynes field goal at the gun!

Well, then you have had a very good post season to this point. More than you could have ever asked for.

One idiot from the Giants has now put his foot in his mouth saying they will beat the Patriots. Look now for the Pats to win by a minimum of three touchdowns, and I think that's being conservative.

What about him? Brady can't win the game by himself. He's not a God amongst men.

Anyway, I hope the Giants win...so I'll say they will win, even if they don't:

Giants 31
Pats 28

I always find it funny when someone makes a big deal about a player saying they will win the game. What, they should go into it saying "Yeah, you guys are right, we don't have a chance"? Of course they think they are going to win. If not, I wouldn't want them on my team!

I just think the Pats have to many weapons and better players overall, and in the big game it will show, but I guess that why they play anything can happen, Pats v. Rams a few years ago.

By the time the game ends on the east coast, at your age and all, might just be a dream anyways if the Giants win.  blush

Isn't that almost always the "kiss of death" for the team who says it?

Yes, that was the Super Bowl at the end of the 2001 season, played in 2002. The Pats were the underdog and won an an Adam V. field goal.

But the Pats have gone on to winn two additional Super Bowls since that game.

Eli has to play big which is always a problem. Rest of the the team especially the defense is ready. I bet the Giants and think they can win but Eli will have to step up. NE is too strong to just do with with Defense, Bradshaw and Jacobs. Will be good to watch.

I think it was Plaxico Burress. What was he supposed to say, they will loose?

I don't think he's a god among men either, especially Belichik. I would be willing to start my own poll, that if Belichik even tries to smile, that his face will become paralized... I am sick of him...

I hope this becomes another Super Bowl 3!!!

If the Giants win, then this superbowl should go down as one of the best SBs ever!! Maybe even better than Super Bowl X, and that coming from me, I think that says A LOT!!!  Smile

Being from NY I hope the Giants win.

Having said that, I also want them to win because if they do we will get another riot up here in Boston where I am at Uni right now. If it is anything like the World Series, they will have to cancel classes because the streets were not safe. There was a policeman on a horse that was knocked over the last time. I can only imagine what would happen if NY won.

Agreed.

The Red Sox won the World Series

The Patriots are in the Super Bowl

The Celtics (currently) have the best record in Basketball.

Now if the Bruins ever get their act together, this year,  scratchchin
