Since there is a thread about snow (which is SOO six months ago), let's have one about sunshine.

So how many sunny days have there been so far this summer?? I haven't been in my hometown but my cousin says it's been quite sunny for the most part, except the last week. But from what I can tell... except the north with it's usual summer tropical rains, it's been fairly sunny this summer in most places.

Summer?! In February?! How absurd!  Yeah sure

On a side note, up north here we've had a couple of days of beautiful sunshine!

PHX gets, on average, over 300 days of sunshine annually. Welcome to the Valley of the Sun.  Smile

I hate sunshine, especially when it is warm/hot outside.

Glad it is winter up north here.

Quite usefully two of the cities where I split the majority of my time (Plymouth and Birmingham) happen to be amongst the four main data recording stations for the Met Office statistics;

Sunshine averages, hours per month:

Unfortunately in Plymouth we also get a lot more wind and rain too!

It's been raining here all day. Last summer was very warm and sunny. About 3 out of 4 days were sunny.

Damn you Southern Hemispherians!

Actually, the good thing about Boston is that it is cold as hell but you still get decent amounts of sunshine during winter (doesn't get a lot of those rainy, depressing days as, say, London or the Netherlands). Too bad Americans don't know how to operate with a time fuse and sunrise is so damn early (which cuts the useful day short).

Read this very carefully, I shall write this only once!
