Who is trying to start a flame war?

And how could anyone sink lower than Billy-boy Clinton did when he was in office?

No, Superfly. 1st of all that opinion didn't exist in the 80's. Look at the 84 election. Dukakis won what? Minnesota (Where they don't even call themselves democrats) and Washington D.C.

Besides lets face it, even though he held of the office of Prime Minister, not president. Canadian Joe Clarke was worse. How long did he last in office 270 days?

If you're looking for really bad leaders, look at everybody who has run British Columbia since Bill Bennett stepped down:

Bill Vander Zalm: Charismatic politician without much substance. Got in trouble for singing 'Alouette' in Quebec; he might as well have sung 'Camptown Ladies' at an NAACP convention. Forced to resign amid a real-estate scandal in 1991.

Rita Johnston: Vander Zalm's short-lived successor. Rumour has it that the former premier of the third-largest province has settled for a less prestigious position as the resident-manager of a trailer park in B.C.'s interior.

Mike Harcourt: Forced to resign amid a scandal ('Bingogate') that involved his party filching money away from a charity.

Glen Clark: Spectacularly rotten premier whose home was raided by police (with a TV crew in tow) and is now on trial for corruption. Was re-elected on a technicality: he lost the popular vote, but won a thin majority in the legislature. Resigned in disgrace.

Dan Miller and Ujjal Dosanjh: Caretakers following Clark's resignation.

Gordon Campbell: Popular, so far, but shows signs of being yet another flaky B.C. premier. Slick and smarmy. In the words of someone I know who once knew Campbell's sister: "Gordon Campbell never had an original idea of his own."

What about the tight roll at the bottom of your jeans.
Swatches
Coca Cola sweatshirts
blue jean jackets with fringe leather
Stompers those little trucks with one AA battery that went in forward and reverse.
Loverboy and Huey Lewis
Air Guitar was an artform as well as the air drum, but the human stool was the epitome of loser.
roller skating at an all night skate with a smoking pit for 12 yr olds.
Skinny ties
parachute pants
Zippers everywhere
the jacket with no sleeves
shaving your name in the back of your head
feathered hair on top and a perm in the back, I still see this occasionaly as I drive by trailer parks.
pong
Mary lou retton
The shirt hanging sexily off a females shoulder as she jazzersized
You knew how to twirl drumsticks in your fingers, see air drumming.

How did I screw that up...You are right Superfly, it was Mondale.....DUhh!!

Glen Clark.....Don't get me started that that A-hole. Does anybody know how many alaska fishermen he tried to force out of buisness. Also there was the two day seiziure of the Alaskan Marine Highway ferry Matanuska. The Mounties stood by and did nothing claiming they wheren't going to interfer with the hijackers since it wa there right to protest.
