LAX - VNY With Public Transportation? Help Pls!

Hi everyone!

I currently try to find a (the best Wink ) way to reach Van Nuys Airport from the LAX terminals by public transportation. I've googled a bit but am not really satisfied with the results. I would need to return the same day in the evening.

Any pointers from the locals maybe? Would be highly appreciated!

That Van Nuys bus is very reliable and good per what a co-worker tells me...I see those damn buses all over Sepulveda!

FlyAway has been so successful that LAWA expanded it to Union Station and Westwood.
