Hi everyone!

I currently try to find a (the best  Wink ) way to reach Van Nuys Airport from the LAX terminals by public transportation. I've googled a bit but am not really satisfied with the results. I would need to return the same day in the evening.

Any pointers from the locals maybe? Would be highly appreciated!

Thanks very much in advance!
F.

www.toandfromtheairport.com is a good source of info... My first thought would be the LA green/blue line metros, but then I found this:

http://www.lawa.org/vny/flyAwayInfo.cfm

Direct busses from Van Nuys - LAX 24 hours a day, $4 per trip

FlyAway isn't operated by Metro, rather by LAWA. The schedules do, however, show up on the LACMTA website.

FlyAway has been so successful that LAWA expanded it to Union Station and Westwood.
