Although In Polish this is an interesting article.

A quick translation deems that a couple of guys who collect this sort of stuff tried to bring in tanks from Slovakia. However there were of course laws against this. So these geniuses waited until we joined Schengen in December and deicded to drive these tanks across the border. The special services (CBS) found them and from what the article says heres the big one: The tanks were armed and ready for use, all you had to do was to take the cap off the cannons and guns  Big grin

Fantastic, this reminds me of the time that douchebag stole a tank in San Diego and went on a rampage.

Lol, it looks like Mr. Slota finally has his tank attack. Too bad he was drunk again and made a navigation mistake...

Yikes!  Wow!

You really have to wonder why those two in the tank almost became Darwin Award winners, especially since the tank was loaded with live ammunition.

Reminds me of the time somebody discovered a fully armed Egyptian T62 tank behind a truckstop in the midwest.

Turns out it was on the way to Teledyne Continental in Muskegon Michigan for a re-engining, something happened with the trucker and he abandoned the load. It was ready to go with a full load of ordnance.

Haven't found a link for the story yet.

Haha, great stuff. How the hell did they manage to buy a tank (they bought it, right?) with live shells in it ????
This was even worse since the guy in San Diego had no ammunition in his tank!

I dont know how this happened, probably bought from maybe some Armory with extra cash.

Imagine if they rode into town and started to "re-enact" war  Silly

Hey LOT,

For punishment, they should be shot in a Polish firing squad.  Wink

Q. What's a Polish firing squad?

A. Shooters stand in a circle.

Ain't I a stinker?
