For some unexplainable reason we have 9day layovers in DXB throughout the summer, which means we get
to spend a full 7days there and get paid approx. 100$/day for expenses.

Now I've been to Dubai a few times and I know it isn't a place I want to spend to much time in summer.
I'm thinking of bringing my wife on one of these trips, and use EK to nonrev to either SEZ or MLE.

I'm looking to find a nice cosy hotel/lodge/B&B and spend about 4 days before returning to DXB.

I'm looking for general advise on which of the islandgroups are nicer. Does anyone know nice places to stay in the
100-150$/night range?

We're also interested in getting our Paddi divelicence somewhere.

Is there a major difference in athmosphere and culture between them.

Ideally would be to hear from people who have done both.

If we go to SEZ , please only advise on Mahé islands, because of the short duration of our trip we are not gonna take additional flights to other islands
