Well my 3rd time skiing this winter and it was the nicest weather I have experianced this winter up in the low 50's sunny and I must have covered most of the mountain.
One highlight was the terrain park I was hitting a lot of jumps and loving every minute of it. You could see a lot of good skiers and boarders doing 360's 180's a few skiers were landing backwards and very good at it.
Anyways I only wrecked once off a jump I ha one ski pop off upon landing from a jump one ski and a a pole fell down the superpipe but I managed to retrieve it no problem.
The only caveat was that the snow was hard packed and icy in places.

Thats awesome, I actually had a full expense stay for 6 days their last year. My aunt took the entire family, and we stayed in a beautiful suite. 3 rooms, full kitchen, 2 gas fire places, 2 30 odd inch flat panels, and 20.1 inch LCD's in each room, laundry machine and dryer, granite counter tops, wood floors, leather sofa's....Man it was amazing!! The original plan was to ski 2 days, snow board 2 days and the last day pick one or the other, but after my first lesson with a gorgeous brazilian snow board instructor I stuck with snow boarding and by the end of the week I tackled 2 black diamonds, It was a slow and tedious process, but i made it with only one or two small wipeouts.
Anyways being from florida and never seeing snow it was great, I was afraid it was going to be freezing, believe it or not for the week it was 62 degrees so I couldnt have had a better time.
Glad you had a great time,
have they started construction on the Ritz Carlton?
Chris, since we are in jail I need to say something to you. Dont drop the soap

Quoting Mike89406 (Reply 6): got the chance to ski Italy over 10 yrs ago it was awesome can't remember what the name of the resort was it was near Slovenia north of Aviano, IT then.
Prior to La Tania we had four years of holidaying in La Thuile which is in Italy's Aosta valley. Have to say that despite the 3 vallevsy being more prestigious, I personally found the quality and upkeep of the slopes in La Thuile classes above Courcehevel. The skiing over past 1850 towards 1650 and 1550 is simply amazing though in Courcehevel. We found Meribel to be incredible icy and 1850 just too busy, so we spent most of the week around 1650.
If I get chance I'll upload some pics sometime, I've got some pretty nice shots of Courcehevel Airport
