Hey all,

It's Wednesday night and I'm bored, so I figured I'd start some variety of random thread. Quite self-explanatory though - just post your cellphone ringtones.

Normal call - "The Bad Touch" by Bloodhound Gang

Txt - "The Breakup Song" by Greg Kihn ("They don't write em like that anymore", haha)

Blocked ID/unknown ID - X-Files Theme

Call - GWPS Altimeter Countdown (500...400...300...200...100...50..40..30..20..10..end). Custom-made, and timed to be realistically timed and end at 10 when the call is ignored and marked as missed
Txt - DING-DONG (F/A call)

All of my incoming phone calls use the standard BlackBerry ringtone. When I look at the screen if I don't recognize the number I don't answer it and let it go to voicemail.

Same thing, almost.

Mine does 100, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, retard... and then loops...

And for text messages I use the seat-belt tone.

Mine never rings, it's always either on silent or vibrate, normally the latter. Normal land-line ring tones annoy the hell out of me, which is why I use that tone as my alarm, because I'm bound to wake up!

That's a great idea, I might try it out as well.

I had some standard Sony Ericsson ringtone for both calls and texts for he longest time. Then I went to Strasbourg and couldn't get the SNCF jingle played before announcements out of my head, so that's now my text tone. Just yesterday, I switched the ringtone to the SBB-CFF-FFS jingle, quite nice and most importantly not a "song".

For both calls and texts, my phone is permantly on silent and vibrate. At home I often leave it on a wooden table, so the vibrate makes quite a noise anyway!

I have the marimba iPhone ringtone as my main tone for calls, a simple wind chime or ding for text messages. I think I'll find some new ones today, actually.

For me I have police sirens for calls. And just a ding for text and e-mails. For instant messaging its the standard AIM "ding" and for when web pages and myspace are ready its like salsa music. So quite a combo.

My phone is always set to "mute" in combination with the vibrator alarm. I really hate people who are using some annoying ringtone on full blast.

Same! For incoming calls it's certainly something unique!

As for texts, I have the simple Nokia "Beep beep... beep beep"!

As for me, I have the generic AT&T tone and I'm just fine with that.
