I prefer a cooked breakfast - usually bacon or sausages, fried eggs, toast, mushrooms, beans and a tomato, topped with HP sauce. But for health (and time) reasons we usually only have cooked breakfast maybe once a week (at weekends, if that). My wife's favourite is bacon with eggy bread (French toast she calls it?), drizzled with golden syrup. Rest of the time, either a bowl of cereal or toast and marmalade.

This please!
But I'm also coming round to the American breakfast of sausage links, crispy bacon and fluffy pancakes drowned in syrup, how could I not??

Scrambled eggs, pain perdu, and of course toast, toast, toast. I like my mornings warm and cozy. I even heat my underwear on a radiator before dressing in the morning (just a dirty little secret I thought I might share here, sorry.)

Depends on the day and what I've got going on.
On duty, as I get up at 0300 each day I rarely eat much breakfast - usually some oatmeal and a bagel. Good for the blood pressure and cholesterol - I'm getting ya know.
When I'm home, occasionally I'll make breakfast for the family before they are up and off to school. Most times, don't get up early enough for breakfast.

I very rarely eat anything for Breakfast.
That aint good. The breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
You know I was thinking about this a little more after my first post and I think it really comes down to the fact that I strongly dislike most of the foods that are associated with breakfast.
I absolutely hate eggs in all forms. I don't care if they are scrambled, fried, poached, etc., hate them all. Makes my stomach sick just thinking about it.

I don't eat breakfast when I'm at home but if I am on a trip I enjoy an omelette with cheese, ham, mushrooms, onions, peppers.... after a few days I switch to the bread cheese ham routine. In Europe I have the continental with a boiled egg and a couple of sausages, while in the UK it is the full greasy cardio nightmare: fried bread, fried eggs, bacon, sausage mushrooms, beans.... yum!
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...
Unfortunately, I rarely have time for a hot breakfast in the morning.

Nothing wrong with that. Nothing beats a warm pair of underwear on a cold winter morning.
