I was thinking that maybe we DTW area a.netters should get together and have some drinks one of these weekends. Who would be interested in meeting up? When would be a good time? Where would be a good place? My house is great for watching planes, but the weather is rather cold now; so hanging outside and watching planes would probably be out of the question except for the most hardcore a.nutters.

Count me in Falstaff. Am in the Dearborn Heights area.
Weekends works better for me but willing to meet up weekdays after 4 pm.

PM me if you wish to.

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

Hey guys, I am Matt Thaler, the owner of the Detroit Spotters site that someone linked to earlier in the thread. ( http://www.detroitspotters.com).

I would love to meet with you guys, and I am sure most of my members would too. Feel free to visit the site to find some good spotting locations or talk with other locals about where to go. The map doesn't have all the spots yet, I need to take some time to add some more.

(P.s. I just signed up for Airliners.net premium!)

Anyone have any ideas for a good date to do the first A.net DTW Meet. I would think sometime when the temp is above 18 degrees.

I would be up for pretty much any weekend, I was already out there both Saturday and Sunday last week, and Saturday the weekend before that with a few guys.

I may just be game, as long as I am not out on the road. If things weren't the way they are, I'd like to get you guys in the hanger at YIP but I don't think that will be happening anytime soon Sad

Not trying to plug anything, but I know of a few that are heading out this Sunday, as well as some who might go this Saturday.

Just give me a date that you guys want to meet and I will try to meet there and bring others along.
