Hey all,
Well, my spring break is coming up and a buddy and I from school want to go somewhere but we really have no idea where. We both have UA flight benefits, so we were thinking somewhere in Asia - more particularly somewhere with a NRT connection. I know UA has connecting flights to TPE, ICN, SIN, and BKK, but I was wondering where else we could connecting that is a cool place to visit?? We can get passes on UA, NW, and NH, so anywhere they go we can go (theoretically, haha).
We were thinking about OKA or maybe SPN, but we really have no idea. So, any suggestions (and reasons) would be most appreciated.

IMO AHA would probably be better in the summer, when its warmer, though maybe it is aready warm in AHA, so don't quote me on that.
I agree that TYO is a good place for spending the two weeks, but I'd also combine it with a trip to ICN. You could even make a guided tour through the DMZ and Panmunjeom if they have one.

In the first case, I could recommend HKG; in the latter case a flight to BKK but for a beach vacation you either would have to add another flight to HKT or a 2-hour coach ride to Pattaya / Jomtien.
SIN is also a good option where you can visit a city and spend your days ont he beaches of Sentosa Island (I hope it is still around). For a longer beach vacation a ferry ride to Bintan or Batam could be another option from Singapore.

I'll second the idea of HKT, not only are you going to find alot of Europeans, you're going to be able to find really nice places to stay; Cheap. Travel from BKK to HKT by air is also very inexpensive.
