This is a shocking story...but it is just the tip of the iceberg - since it invaded the occupied territories in 1967, Israel has demolished over 4000 Palestinian homes and in the process made some 40000 homeless.
Leave the house now - bulldozers are outside...
By Amira Hass
Israeli reporter
RAFAH - At 2 A.M. on Thursday,
January 10, Abu Ahmed was roused
by knocking on his front door. A
few seconds went by before the
groggy father of five, grasped that
the sound wasn't rainfall dropping on
his asbestos roof; instead, people
were standing outside, yelling
something. He opened the door, and
found himself facing a few young
people whose job is to protect the
neighborhood - the "O" block in
Rafah's western refugee camp in
Gaza, which straddles the Egyptian
border.
"Get out of the house right now,"
they shouted. "The Jews are coming to demolish it. There are bulldozers
outside." A Palestinian woman shouts in front of an Israeli soldier as bulldozers started to destroy her neighbor's house in east Jerusalem January 14, 2002. Israeli bulldozers demolished nine partly-built Palestinian houses ordered by Israeli city authorities because the owners had not received construction permits.

If you were in their place what would you do?
I wish I could have put the photos in, but I couldnt.

Lets hear how LY772 can't go to the mall because of your damn suicide bombers killing innocent civilians left and right. How come we don't hear about that from you EmiratesLover. You can't stay one sided about everything. Both sides are suffering.

``Look we all know you are anti-Israeli, and we all know how innocent the Palestinians are and how all Israelis and Jews must die (note the sarcasm) but please just leave us alone. I'm tired of hearing all the poor Palestinians. I'm not one to use this language, but Shut The Hell Up Already!''
You know what, I am quite pleased to see you are being irritated by the negative exposure of your nation. Not that I ever said anything about I wanting Jews to die ( I do not want anyone to die ).Neither did I say that all Palestinians are innocent ( they are not ).

Exactly both sides are suffering. But I do notice a double standard.
When Palestinian suicide bombers go to Israeli cities and blow themselves up in the middle of Israeli civilians, everyone ( including myself ) rightly take a stand against it.Everyone on this forum seems to thing it is wrong.Fair enough.
When Israel puts millions of Palestinians under military occupation, strips them of their basic human rights and dignity and demolishes their homes, uproots their olive trees, steals their water, confiscates their land, uses live gunfire against protesters, bombs civilian neighbourhood using F16 generously provided by the American congress and violated 29 out of 30 basic human rights of Palestinian people ( according to B'tselem the Israeli human rights group ), all with the blessings, I may add of American taxpayer dollar, nobody ( at least not in this forum ) aside from myself, ADG and a few others can take a stand against it.Morality and fairness demand we all take a stand against terror AND the injustice and repression that creates it.Unfortunately, many have a tendency to oppose only one - in the case of many of you lot screaming against terror while condoing occupation and all it's repressions seems to be the norm. Were this forum be dominated by people who moan about Israeli oppression while ignoring the terrible cost wrought on Israel by the vicious suicide bombers, I would gladly attempt to redress the balance by tellig people that the Palestinians too are not blameless.
So how about it? I join the others on this forum in denouncing Palestinians terror.Would the others care to join me in taking a stand against the oppression that created it ?

People that's enough!
Innocent Palestinian civilians deserve the same respect as the Israelis, and the fact that some of them lost their home is something terrible.
All Palestinians are not terrorists for God Sake. I’m sick of the brainwash you can find on these forums sometimes.
