I can't take credit for this myself as it was pointed out by a morning DJ here in PHX, but I'll be damned if Hillary Clinton doesn't sound like Richard Simmons when she speaks! He played her "Thank you" speech after winning the Ohio Primary last night and she coulda been him! Don't believe me? Watch the news tonight, I'm sure she'll be on! And yes, you'll laugh out loud.
But my question is then...
Is sounding exactly like Richard Simmons an absolute deal breaker for President of the US?
For me? Yes, sounding or looking like Richard Simmons makes you non-Presidential material.

Quoting Fumanchewd (Reply 1): She's a woman and is supposed to sound like that. If anything Simmons has the problem.
You're so sure Richard's a dude? And Hillary's not?
It's not wholly a matter of gender, but more of being weird, and associating the candidate to that voice; that voice being Richard Simmons here is just the icing on the comedy cake.
For example, it could be a weird or creepy female voice as well.
If a female candidate sounded like Marge Simpson, Katherine Hepburn, or Cyndi Lauper the same would apply, and I could NOT see them as President.
