Whom ever has the best or most unique cars of where I am at. I am a car nut so I try to rent something unusual when I travel. For example you can rent Ferraris and Lamborghinis in Florida and California.
Perhaps stateside, but not in Canada. I've rented from them in YXC in fall. I asked for an intermediate car (which is elsewhere a Malibu or G6) and they gave me a Focus! I'd hate to see what they call compact.

I am a gold member with Hertz, but I have also used Enterprise with good results. I tied Dollar and will never use them again, I don't care if I have to take a cab to another airport at my destination to get to another rental car agency. So I will give a tally to both Hertz and Enterprise...

I rent trucks more often than cars.. hertz once lost my company direct billing details, that made me angry enough never to use them again so now I only use budget for cars. And for trucks, penske for the BIG trucks and budget for the little ones.

I ALWAYS book my rental cars through www.arguscarhire.com. They always seem to come up with the cheapest deals, regardless of who the actual renter turns out to be! At the end of the day, I don't really care who that happens to be, as long as I get a good deal with all extras, insurance etc. included, which it always is with those guys.

The only two times I've needed to rent a car, I've used Enterprise and been quite content with them...since I see two other Enterprise users on this thread did not bother to update the list, I've included them below:
