This is really pissing me off.

I woke up this morning at 8:05 for school, I went to my parents room where I found my mum and I ask her; what are you still doing here? She said: We have no cars.... I said: WHAT???!!!

The story goes like this:
At 4:30 a.m. our door bell was ringing, my mother, who was the only one to wake up from this, opened the telephone (we have an operator) and asked who is it, she was told that this is the police and that she should open the door, she told them that she doesnt know who they are and what they want and she wont open, they told her "listen madam, this is the police and your cars were stolen...."

apparently, 3 Arabs men had broken up to our living-room from our garden, although we have bars between the garden and our house, it did'nt disturb them at all, they just nailed it out (the alarm was off btw)... all they took (which was VERY surprising) was the keys to my parents cars, my dad's BMW528I and my mum's 318I, they also took my mum's handy and her handbag....

What happend was that one of our neighbours saw a suspect movement in our street, he called the police and told them that someone is dealing with our cars, by the time the police arrived (5 min later) they were gone... with our cars...

My mother went to the garden with the policemen were she found her handbag somewhere on the grass serounded by her papers and cards, they took only the money she had inside the bag.

I couldnt stop thinking about this the whole day, the fact that 3 Arabs were walking inside my house while I was sleeping in my room... this is unbearable... I dont feel safe anymore in my home!

I dont understand how poeple can be so consciencless, I mean, this is so low.... breaking to one's home while he is sleeping... this is DISGUSTING!!!

BTW, I had the 318 (the car not the Airbus, dah) for myself for the passing week, and I planned on going to a gas station this morning for refueling because I left the car with no fuel at all... Smile
AND- I had my favourite ROXETTE album (don't bore us, get to the chorus) in the car's CD player, anyone wants to buy me a new one???

Michael

P.S.1.
Usually I dont participate in the political discussion over here, and this is not a political topic at all, but they WERE Arabs.

P.S.2.
My older brother was lucky, he parked his Clio in the parallel street and his car was not stolen.

I think you had 3-banger forks instead of the 4-jobbers so KROC had to settle for the car, instead.

You think you are mad? The 318 I just jacked from you needs a new Transmission. Now I can't get jack for it on the street!

Yep. but you get only the amount of the car's worth, so when buying a new one you must add lots of $$.
For instance, the 318 was a 2000 model, to get a new one you need to add around 80,000 NIS (= 17,000$).
Cars are very expensive in Israel.

Why does it matter if they were Arabs?

Would you be happy if it was Charles Manson instead?

Hey sorry Mike.

Keep the alarm on! We do in the states, so you should definately in israel.

I hope the IDF or border guards find your cars before they fall into the wrong hands and god forbid are used for terrible purposes.

good luck to you.

shalom,
russ

PanAm747, I don't think that's the point he's trying to make.

He's just stating they were Arabs. So what if they were? It's just like stating "they had brown hair and all wore glasses." It's a description. Nothing more.

PanAm, in Israel it matters, you see, sometimes they also kill us...

Russ, thanx! we do keep it on as of yesterday....
I'm not that upset for the cars, what I hate is the feeling itself...

And I'm sorry for the rest of you guys that had some troubles too....

El Al 001

Your story is quite common in Mexico City, although here you are taken with the car, that way they can ask for some extra money.

I know what you are feeling, but try to see the positive things, you are safe and you didn´t see the people steeling the cars. About one year ago, I got to my house with my parents and two cars parked beside us before we could park the car in the garage, they pull out guns and they took our wallets, my mom's purse and the car (Brand new Volvo S40). It was a shoock for me to see the thieft's hand shaking, he was very nervous, but if he didn't control himself a bullet could have killed me. It is very disapointing to see that your country is not the safe place it used to be some time ago!!! Hope that in the future, police can turn Mexico City into the safe place it used to be long time ago.

Such an a$$hole.
If you have a problem then dont reply!

And besides, people being murdered everyday, people get raped everyday, people being robbed everyday etc', SO???? Does that mean that none of the above are big deals because they happen everyday??!! b.s.
I'll ask you another thing, If a plane crashes everyday, would it also be a "big f**king deal"???!!! so dumb of you.

Get a hobby, or better yet, get a life.
