Andy Rooney is a very smart old man. I watch CBS 60 minutes every weekend, and I like his reflections on almost "everything".

The patriotism is getting a little sickening it only took 2 weeks for people to start capitalizing on everything.

Andy Rooney stormed European beaches as a combat journalist during WWII.

He flew bombing missions over Germany with the eighth Air Force.

I don't think there's any point in questioning his patriotism.
