Great cartoon in today's Observer.
Mrs Beckham is in the doctors surgery, he asks her if she has any cravings.
She answers 'publicity'.
Yyz717, I wish they'd disappear too, but so many morons out there are actually interested in them so they sell newspapers, (well...tabloids) and magazines.
You cannot turn on ITV over here without some minor celeb appearing on screen, as I'm now in full rant mode here is GDB's list of those people/programmes who immediatly make him turn over, or turn off and do something more interesting;
The Beckhams, especially Victoria.
The Spice Girls
All other similar manufactered groups
All programmes trying to make yet more talentless groups, eg: Pop Idol, Popstars.
Friends
Anything with Vanessa Feltz
Anything with Jim Davidson
Anything with Nick Berry
Anything with Cilla Black
Any Jerry Springer style programme, and the UK versions are not much better, still manage to find the congenitally stupid and obese.
Ally McBeal

All those companies saying 'we can cut your debt to one managable paymen'...yea at 35% APR.
And those immensely annoying adverts for people wanting to buy a car buy have a low credit rating. If people have a low credit rating they wont want to buy a luxury car, will they!!!!Errrr

We've got one of those debt management companies in our office block occupying the best part of two floors and with a new reception area on the ground floor have just been opened by them!
Our landlords are transferring established tenant companies to other properties....hope we're not going!
