My favorite models are the '67 and '68 Fastback and Convertible. Personally, I never cared too much for the Coupes.
I drive a '72 Mustang Convertible. The rear end looks almost identical to the '73 (which I believe is the model in Superfly's picture). The '73 had some changes made to the front grill which I think made the car look much more mundane.
This is the front end of the '72 Convertible:
My car looks very similar, except that it's in goldenrod rather than that really blinding yellow...

1967. My favorite, because I have one. A simple Pony car with a 289cid motor & C4 auto tranny. Nothing special about it except it's the only Frost Turquoise Mustang of any generation here in Havasu. Oh, and it's paid for too. Regards.

1970...Boss 429. Brutal. While they were rated at "only" 375 HP, 500 HP was nearer to the truth. Unfortunately very rare. They built about one thousand Mustangs ( and Cougar Eliminators ) for the general public in order make the Boss 429 engine "legal" in race competition.
